John Dombzalski is the Director for Global Government Sales and Strategy at Mapbox where he is responsible for growing and maintaining Mapbox’s presence in government organizations across the globe from agencies and organizations building public facing web and mobile apps to mission-critical systems supporting global initiatives both domestically and with allied nations. Prior to Mapbox, John spent time in enterprise software roles at Esri and SAS supporting US National Security strategies. He got his start in the mapping space while enrolled at Kutztown University where he holds degrees in Geography and Public Administration. Recognizing the role GIS and mapping played in broader IT and business strategies, John holds a Master’s in Technology Management from Georgetown University. When not supporting mapping initiatives for governments, John enjoys putting his geo skills to the test by traveling the world and experiencing different cultures and unique foods.
