Alex Jacobs

Alex is a qualified space systems engineer with 13 years’ experience in UK Defence procurement. He is a Civil Servant currently working within a UK Ministry of Defence Delivery Team - the Space Delivery Team. The team supplies a varied portfolio of space-related projects (Space-based ISR, Space Domain Awareness, and Position Navigation and Timing) on behalf UK Space Command, Strategic Command and the UK Space Agency. His role, as the lead engineer for a space domain awareness project, focusses on providing a fit-for-purpose, safe, and secure system on behalf of a joint UK civilian/military customer within the National Space Operations Centre (NSpOC).
