Anand Santhanam

Anand Santhanam is an experienced professional in the Intelligence and Security industry and has subject matter expertise in the fields of Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Geospatial Intelligence. Mr. Santhanam is BAE System’s Director International Markets for the Advanced GEOINT Systems group. He has been with BAE Systems over a decade and is responsible for steering and driving strategy for business growth within the Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Prior to joining BAE Systems, Mr. Santhanam managed the Australian Defence Strategic Geospatial Intelligence program. He established, led and managed the program’s scope, budget, resources and schedule by maintaining a strong architectural focus to ensure the delivery of a loosely-coupled GEOINT system. His portfolio also included strategically analysing and assessing potential impacts of Defence and Industry’s ISR capability capabilities. Mr. Santhanam graduated from the Australian National University with honours in Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Information Technology. He also has a Masters in Information Communication Technology with a major in computer vision and also a Master of Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Mr. Santhanam and his family currently live in Sydney, Australia.
