Apostolia Karamali advises Commissioner Andrius Kubilius on space as a member of his Cabinet. Previously, she held different management positions as head of the Director-General’s Cabinet in the European Space Agency, head of unit for research and innovation actors and research infrastructures, as well as deputy head of unit for space policy and research in the European Commission. She has long experience in the development of policy and programmes for space, security, research and innovation at European level while her background is in Earth Sciences and Earth Observation.
