BG Jakubczyk is a Polish Army Intelligence Officer with assignments in Iraq, Afghanistan, JFC Naples, and in various national commands including MoD. He was commissioned as an officer upon graduation from the Polish Army Military College in 1997. In his previous command, he served as the Deputy Commander of the 18th Mechanized Division. Prior to that post, he was the Commander of the 2nd Long Range Reconnaissance Regiment in Poland. His Intelligence staff assignments include posts in MDIV CS as Specialist in Intelligence Branch; 2nd MC HQ as the Chief of Intelligence Support to Targeting then Military Intelligence Analysis Branch G-2; OPS COM of PAF Chief of Military Intelligence Analysis Branch J-2 and GS of PAF as the Deputy Chief of Intelligence Analysis Directorate J-2. His awards and decorations include: Bronze Cross of Merit with Swords, Military Cross of Merit with Swords, triple Afghanistan Star, Iraq Star, Medal of the Armed Forces in the Service of the Fatherland, Medal of Merit for National Defence, Guardian Medal of the Places of National Remembrance, quadruple NATO Non-article 5 medal for ISAF, NATO Non-Article 5 medal for Operation Unified Protector, US Army Commendation Medal. BG Jakubczyk is married to Anna. They have two daughters Aleksandra and Zuzanna.
