Chief, International Support Team, Canada and UK National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency

Mr. Gary L. Dunow is the Chief of the International Support Team for Europe and Canada at the National Geospatial-lntelligence Agency. In this position, he represents the NGA Director as the Senior NGA liaison to the GEOINT Enterprises European and Canadian partners. Prior assignments include Director, Career Services; Director and Deputy Director, Analysis; Deputy Director, International Affairs; Deputy Director, Expeditionary Operations; Senior Deployed lead for GEOINT support to counterterrorism operations  in Iraq; Deputy Chief for Community Governance. In each of these positions, Mr. Dunow drove the enterprise for mission and workforce outcomes that aligned with the NGA Strategy and transformed major functions for future GEOINT capabilities. Mr. Dunow spent the first five years of his NGA career in the Source Operations and Management Directorate where he directed numerous operational activities, multi-1 NT programs and community-wide GEOINT collection and analytic initiatives. Mr. Dunow entered the Executive Service in 2008.
Mr. Dunow retired from the United States Air Force as an Intelligence Officer. He served in numerous enlisted and officer Air Force assignments and joint organizations during his Air Force career. Mr. Dunow earned a bachelors degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Russian language from Excelsior University. Mr. Dunows military and civilian awards include the Presidential  Rank of Meritorious Executive, Superior Civilian Service Medal, multiple Director of National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citations, Defense Meritorious Service Medal and Joint Service Commendation Medal.
Mr. Dunow lives in Northern Virginia with his family.
