Hide Shiraishi

Hide is the global sales lead for Earth observation satellite-based products at NTT DATA. He is responsible for selling AW3D, the world’s most accurate digital 3D map created using data from various satellites, as well as related platform services to clients worldwide. With deep expertise in remote sensing, he has strong relationships with satellite companies and GIS partners, and is highly knowledgeable in industries such as defense, telecom, smart cities, and construction.

Previously, he served as a Visiting Fellow at the Japan Chair, Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where he researched international relations, particularly focusing on Japan-U.S. relationships. His research also included a political perspective on cybersecurity, including legal frameworks, policy development, and information-sharing mechanisms.
