James McAden

Prior to joining HawkEye 360, Jamie had a thirty-year career as a U.S. Army Military Intelligence officer and Foreign Area Officer for Asia, retiring as a Colonel in 2020. In his military career, he held leadership and senior staff positions at U.S. INDOPACIFIC Command, at U.S. Embassies in the Asia-Pacific region, and at the Defense Intelligence Agency. In these roles he developed a reputation for building cohesive teams to tackle complex national security and intelligence issues in the region. He holds a Master of Arts in International Economics/Asian Studies from the School of Advanced International Studies-Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Davidson College.
