Col Blunt has responsibility for 426 soldiers who provide the deployable geospatial support capability to Defence. Held in 4 Squadrons (3regular and 1 reserve), Lt Colonel Blunt is responsible for their force preparation, generation for operations, sustainment whilst deployed and recovery. In addition he has responsibility to support all other Royal Engineer(Geographic) soldiers and their equipment across Defence.
