Lieutenant-colonel Nicolas Gérôme is an Air Force Engineer graduated in 2004 from the Royal Military Academy in Brussels. He holds several complimentary degrees in Geomatics, Big Data and Space Engineering. He has more than 20 years of experience managing C4ISR, geospatial, remote sensing and space programs within Defence and private sector.

Lieutenant-colonel Nicolas Gérôme commands the Belgian Defence Geospatial Centre since 2023. The DGC provides the full spectrum of geospatial information and intelligence products to Belgian Armed Forces.
