Major Alex Green

Major Alex Green read a BSc in Geology with Physical Geography at Southampton University before attending Sandhurst and commissioning into the Royal Engineers in Sept 2010. His time as a Troop Commander was spent completing armoured support on exercise in Canada, a dismounted support role on tour in Afghanistan and concluded with a 6 month tour of 1 Royal School of Military Engineering; this was his first taste of instructing in the military. He then attended the Royal School of Military Survey to join course number 6, what would have been course 100 of the Military Survey Course, to gain an MSc in Geospatial Intelligence. Since then Major Green has completed roles as the Operations Officer in 42 Engineer Regiment Geographic, Requirements Manager in Defence Digital and currently holds the post of Senior Instructor at the Royal School of Military Survey.
