Marie-Pierre Raymond

LCol (Ret’d) Marie-Pierre Raymond joined the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in 1992, specializing in communications and intelligence. Throughout her career, she held various leadership positions and deployed on multiple CAF operations. She represented the CAF at NATO SIGINT and Electronic Warfare committees and actively contributed to women, peace, and security initiatives. Following her retirement, she became a Defence Scientist and Innovation Portfolio Manager for the CAF’s Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS) Program. In this role, she bridges military operators and innovators, overseeing the development and testing of cutting-edge solutions.
