Michael Putz, co-founder and CEO of blackshark.ai, was born in Salzburg, Austria. With a master’s degree in computer science, Michael began his career by founding Austria's largest video game studio, driven by a passion for immersive 3D worlds. This path led him to lead the groundbreaking effort of rendering the entire planet in 3D for Microsoft Flight Simulator, a technological milestone that laid the foundation for blackshark.ai. Emerging from its game development roots, blackshark.ai is now transforming 'Dynamic Mapping' by developing a real-time digital twin of Earth. Beyond his professional endeavors, Michael enjoys free skiing, CrossFit, and family time.
