Ms. Michaela Mesquite has spent the past decade serving
the United States Intelligence Community and currently serves National
Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA)’s Artificial Intelligence (AI), Automation,
and Augmentation (AAA) initiative as a Partner Engagement Officer. In this
role, she is at the forefront of the Agency’s effort to employ AAA capabilities
to augment traditional operations and pave the way for the enterprise’s
technological and cultural transformation to maintain GEOINT strategic
advantage.
In her previous roles Michaela has served as a Senior
GEOINT Officer advising analytic modernization projects, with special attention
to imagery analysis augmentation with computer vision and image processing, and
held other partner engagement positions focused on the confluence of analytic
tradecraft and technological modernization. Michaela began her career at NGA as
an imagery analyst serving a variety of analytic missions, to include theatre
deployment.
Ms. Mesquite did graduate work in Remote Sensing and GIS
at Pennsylvania State University as an intelligence officer. Prior to her NGA career she earned her master’s
degree in International Relations at Boston College and two undergraduate
degrees in International Studies and Political Science at the University of
Washington.
Michaela lives in Northern Virginia with her husband
and two young children.
