Mike Curtis

Mike Curtis-Rouse is Co-Founder and CEO of Second Star, a disruptive space propulsion company offering orbital mobility solutions across the space domain, from CubeSats to launch vehicles. Second Star leverages a highly scalable fabrication approach, enabling best-in-class performance, sustainable propellants, and at a significantly lower cost.

Second Star is actively manufacturing and testing propulsion systems for spacecraft requiring collision avoidance and high impulse manoeuvres at their dedicated test facility at the Westcott Space Park. Mike read engineering at the University of Manchester and previously worked for CERN, Reaction Engines, ESA and the Satellite Applications Catapult, and co-founded Second Star in 2023.
