Mike is Deputy Chief Executive and Corporate Director of Place at Huntingdonshire District Council, responsible for a broad portfolio including Economic Development and Regeneration, Housing Delivery, Planning and Public Protection, Environmental Services, and Leisure, Health and Environment. He leads the development and delivery of the Council’s economic and place-based ambitions for Huntingdonshire, driving opportunities for growth, investment and partnership across the district. A key element of Mike’s role is leading the Council’s defence-related work, including the Huntingdonshire Defence Cluster, supporting Project FAIRFAX alongside colleagues at RAF Wyton, and engaging with stakeholders across Defence, industry, academia and government.
