Mike Nelson

Mike Nelson is a Canadian Armed Forces veteran, Executive MBA graduate, 2023 Ottawa 40 Under 40 recipient, and entrepreneur. He is also the founder and CEO of TACTIQL Inc. TACTIQL is a bootstrapped, Canadian Military Technology start-up founded in 2022, and was recently accepted into the 2025 cohort for NATO DIANA. Their team of Canadian military veterans and engineers rapidly commercialized a geospatial data assurance software for airborne ISTAR systems, which has been sold to the Canadian Army, Navy, and Joint Forces. They are now focused on delivering for their Canadian customers and exploring mechanisms to deliver their value proposition to allied warfighters.
