Nigel Clifford

Nigel Clifford is Deputy Chair of the UK's first Geospatial Commission. 

Part of the UK's Cabinet Office, the Geospatial Commission is an expert committee that will set the UK’s geospatial strategy and promote the best use of geospatial data.

He was previously the Chief Executive of Ordnance Survey from 2015 to 2018, and has also held Chief Executive roles with Procserve Holdings Ltd, Micro Focus International, Symbian Software Ltd, Tertio Telecoms and Glasgow Royal Infirmary University NHS Trust.

Nigel has a geography degree from Cambridge and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and recently became a proud possessor of a certificate confirming he is a Chartered Geographer.'
