Chief Architect Leidos

Paul is the Chief Architect working across the whole of Leidos UK’s National Security and Defence portfolio. Paul brings with him over 35 years’ experience architecting and delivering complex IT and technology systems across the sector. Specialising in secure, mission and enterprise IT, Paul has been the solution lead on many major programmes delivering capability into secure UK Public Sector organisations.

His career began as a System Design Engineer on the British Army’s Ptarmigan digital communications system platform before moving on to design, develop and deliver a portfolio of secure Information Systems across both Intelligence and Operational environments for UK MOD.

Taking on the role of CTO for the MOD’s Enterprise IT platform Paul led the re-architecting of MODNET. He was instrumental in enabling MOD to be amongst the first and certainly largest adopter of M365 in the public sector, ensuring the transition of 200,000 users and their data.

Since joining Leidos Paul has led a number of successful opportunities including the PICASSO GEOINT and CRENIC programmes, as well as collaborating with his US and Australian colleagues on developing mission-centric concepts and capability.

Paul is focused on solutioning to meet client challenges, bringing the best, latest and relevant technology alongside domain and engineering expertise to develop and evolve mission-relevant capabilities, applying innovation and insight to achieve operational success.
