Richard Begg

Richard Begg is the Deputy Director Data and Services at GEOINT New Zealand. He is responsible for GEOINT capability development and managing a technical team focused on GEOINT data and systems integration.

Richard completed a Geology Degree at Otago University and worked in the mining industry before joining the Royal New Zealand Navy Hydrographic Office supporting the Hydrographic Survey Team. Richard has remained with the New Zealand Defence Force transitioning into roles in the Information Technology and Data domain.
