Rob Palm

A Baltimore native, served for almost 30 years as a Naval Officer, first as a flight officer in F-14 Tomcats and mid-career transitioned to the Navy’s Foreign Area Officer corps in 2005. He has 20 years’ experience living and working in Italy, Israel, Qatar and Greece, where he last served as the Senior Defense Official and Defense Attaché in Athens. He retired overseas in 2018, starting his second career focusing on the promotion of U.S. economic influence in Europe and beyond, establishing RxP International to consult in the maritime, defense and technology sectors. He returned with his family to the USA in 2021, assuming the role as Senior Director of International Business Development at HawkEye 360, the World’s foremost commercial RF signals data & satellite company. Rob is a graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy, the University of San Diego and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He serves as President of the Board of Governors of the Foreign Area Officer Association, which promotes military diplomacy and career transitions for FAOs. He currently lives with his wife Paola and son Joseph in Arlington, Virginia.
