Rosso Kane Dieng is a seasoned professional with nearly 20 years of experience in digital technology, space sector and education. She is driven by a deep passion for leveraging technology to create a socio-economic impact in Africa. With extensive expertise honed through regional leadership roles at industry giants such as Microsoft and Oracle, Rosso is dedicated to developing innovative strategies and solutions that empower governments to advance Africa’s development agenda.

Currently, she serves as the Director of Planning, Partnership, and Development at the Senegal Space Agency (ASES) where she leads the design and execution of strategic partnerships, oversees project planning, secures funding mechanisms, monitors performances and fosters the growth of a dynamic local ecosystem. Her efforts contribute to positioning Senegal as a key player in the global space industry.

Beyond her role at ASES, Rosso is the president of a nonprofit organization committed to bridging the digital divide by providing technological tools and resources to underserved communities, with a particular focus on empowering young girls to embrace STEM careers and become future space leaders.

Operating at the intersection of education, space sector and digital technology, Rosso is a passionate advocate for STEM programs for girls working to inspire the next generation, especially women and young girls, to pursue careers in the STEM fields.
