Mr Simmons is a senior leader at the industry association OGC, coordinating member-driven standards development activities and ensures that all OGC standards progress through the organization’s consensus process to approval and publication.
Captain Jones has 30 years’ experience across the military geospatial intelligence domains, and is now heading up the Earth Observation effort within the Geospatial Commission for the UK government.
Lt Colonel Hopkins’ previous roles include serving at the MCE as a Troop Commander and at CANSCOM as Deputy Director of Special Operations.
Ms Faraon previously held the role of Deputy Division Chief for the Source GEOINT Transformation Office at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. She was responsible for guiding NGA’s transformation in visualization services, NGA acquisitions of web and mobile applications, including NGA advancements in mobile technology.
