Ms. Tracy Maloney serves as the Deputy Director of the Source Operations and Management Component with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, where she provides oversight and guidance for a broad range of Source mission areas to include, Foundation Operations, Geomatics and Safety of Navigation efforts; Commercial GEOINT discovery, assessment and acquisition; Collection Orchestration; and dissemination activities of GEOINT products and data. In this position, she also leads Source’s engagement and collaboration activities with Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, civil and international partners to ensure the GEOINT enterprise is positioned to meet the needs of its global users.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Maloney served as the director of the Source Operations Group (SX) where she led the integrated operational collection, process, and dissemination mission for the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) enterprise. In this role, Ms. Maloney oversaw a globally diverse staff to execute GEOINT and multi-INT strategy development by managing and directing the organization’s mission to create, collect, and disseminate authoritative GEOINT content and services that return value-driven solutions to satisfy partner needs. With the goal of creating a transformative and modern GEOINT collection enterprise, her efforts focused on facilitating integrated collection operations with DoD, IC and allies to meet the current and future needs of GEOINT users worldwide.
Ms. Maloney began her more than 39-year federal career as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force (USAF), which included assignments with the former Foreign Technology Division – now designated as the National Air and Space Intelligence Center. After serving honorably for 7 years, Tracy left the U.S. Air Force to serve in a variety of positions across the Intelligence Community, including with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). Her expertise includes program management, systems engineering, and acquisition oversight.
She earned a bachelor’s and master’s in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and Wright State University, respectively.
