Wend Williamson

Wend Williamson is Assistant Director Foundation, at the Defence Geographic Centre, a part of UK’s National Centre for Geospatial Intelligence. She leads on delivery of Foundation GEOINT products and services, particularly for imagery manipulation, geographic applications, geospatial flight safety and multinational projects, to provide global GEOINT coverage in support of UK Defence. Wend was appointed to this current position in January 2018, having served 31 years in UK MOD geospatial roles. She is a Chartered Geographer and Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
