In 2018 Mr Priest was appointed a Director in the Cabinet Office and CEO of the newly formed Geospatial Unit. In addition, he is a member of the Geospatial Commission, an independent, cross government agency that will set policy for, and drive the UK geospatial agenda, reporting up into senior government Ministers and the Cabinet Office Permanent Secretary.
