At DGI, we spoke to Ryan Barry, Defence and Security Sales Manager at Telespazio UK, to see why they continue to sponsor year after year.
Ryan: We have sponsored DGI several times because it’s a well-established event that draws many people from the geospatial intelligence community. There’s a good combination of delegates and sponsors to have conversations that help expand our network and our work with the GIS community.
Ryan: They’ve been fantastic; it’s always good, but this year is one of the best years ever. There is always a high level of attendance from our key customers in the MOD and the right level of delegation from the other supply chain members; it’s a nice mix of both.
Ryan: The whole conference is great as there’s a good balance of everything. We’ve spoken to the decision-makers, some in the MOD, but we’ve also been able to talk to the people processing and using the data we sell. We’ve engaged across the whole customer database from the top to the bottom.
The networking opportunities are good. The breaks between the talks are long enough to grab something to eat, drink and network with delegates. The way the breakout sessions are done is great; you can pick and choose what you would like to do, whether that be going to one of the talks or making use of the time going around to the stands to speak to people.
Five stars; the registration is simple, and the information before the event is always good it’s great. This is an important line of business for us; to have visibility here at DGI and to let people know that Telespazio is a key player within the geospatial industry is essential.
