This is one of the first events we have sponsored in the UK and around this audience since COVID.

We returned to DGI because we have a big contingent here in the UK and Europe, so we wanted to come back and meet customers and potential customers and market our company here as a sponsor.

We go to events where the delegates are either decision-makers or report to decision-makers. At DGI we connect with decision-makers. That's what we’re here for.

We've had really good connections as far as delegates go It's the right audience for us, for sure. Especially being able to meet folks like the UK MOD, it’s been really great for us.

I like that this audience is a very focused group. I've been at conferences where there's just a ton of overwhelming booths, so you get delegates who aren’t the decision-makers or decision-influencers we are here to meet. But at DGI we’re connecting with our target audience.

In terms of our booth, we’ve had a great spot, we're even near the food. The positioning and organisation has been great; we got everything we needed from the WBR team. We’ve also had multiple speaking sessions this year. We had a (think tank); that was great because it was in the main room with the whole audience. We had a specialised boardroom session on the first day. We even had our CEO speak in the main plenary today. Our sessions were really well received.

My team found the networking, different breakout sessions, drinks receptions and tracks very helpful. While I've been in meetings at the booth all day. We had a lot of folks stop by the booth because of our speaking engagements, so I haven't had to explain what we do; which has helped us maximise the time with each connection. From a marketing perspective, I would say it’s been a success.

DGI has become an important event for BlackSky to attend. Especially because we have a presence on this side of the world; it's a vital event for us. It's pretty telling that we brought our CEO here and had two speaking engagements with the whole audience and one invitation only focus day round table.

We’re definitely going to repeat this process as a sponsor because of the speaking sessions and networking opportunities.
